Cross-country skiing Schöneben and Frymburk

A large cross-country ski area with a total of 70 km of trails, with high snow security and a reputation for the best daily groomed trails in the Bohemian Forest, located in Austria around Moldaublick and Hochficht at an altitude of about 1,000 m above sea level. The area is easily accessible from the Czech side, free parking is located less than a kilometer behind the border crossing Zvonková-Schöneben. Please note that entry to the tracks is charged at EUR 2.50 per person per day!

Cross-country ski area Frymburk-Lipno

A pleasant cross-country ski area with a total of 43 km of snowmobiles and scooter-modified varied ski trails leading partly along a wooded ridge between Frymburk and Lipno, partly through meadows and pastures above Frymburk around Svatonina Lhota and partly along a frozen and snowy Lipno lake. The tracks are adjusted at an altitude of 720 – 920 m.n.m.

Boarding points and accompanying services

The ideal starting points are at the football field in Lipno nad Vltavou and in Frymburk, as well as directly at the Lipno Centrum rental shops in the Lipno Marina and in the car park at the Wellness Hotel Frymburk. You can park directly here for free and also use the services of the Lipno Centrum rental shop, where they will lend or sell the necessary material and service and lubricate cross-country skis. No cross-country skier should definitely miss the newly opened snack “U Richarda” on the remote romantic Svatonina Lhota.
